Legal information
Terms of Service
This page gives users a complete, readable structure during the private pilot. The legal operator must confirm its registered contact details, governing law, processor list, international-transfer safeguards and final retention schedule before public launch or paid checkout.
1. Who operates Prophet.today
Prophet.today (the “Service”) is currently a private pilot. The legal operator, company registration, postal address and formal notice details must be confirmed here before public launch.
2. What the Service does
Prophet is evidence-led decision-support software. It combines observations, public and licensed third-party data, derived signals, forecasts and uncertainty labels. It does not replace primary sources or qualified professional judgment.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms and provide accurate account information.
- You are responsible for protecting your credentials and for activity performed through your account.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may require verification before restoring access.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only lawfully. You must not attempt to bypass security or usage limits, interfere with collection systems, introduce malicious code, scrape restricted interfaces, misuse third-party data, impersonate another person, or use Prophet to operate safety-critical systems without independent controls.
5. Evidence, forecasts and third-party material
Coverage can be incomplete and observations can be delayed, stale, conflicting or wrong. Forecasts are probabilistic and will sometimes be wrong. LIVE, OFFICIAL, INFERRED, FORECAST, DELAYED, EOD and STALE describe provenance or timing; they are not guarantees. Third-party names, marks and data remain subject to their owners’ rights and terms.
6. Your responsibility
You remain responsible for every decision made using the Service. Material decisions must be checked against current primary sources and, where appropriate, qualified financial, legal, tax, medical, safety, engineering or other professional advisers.
7. Plans, limits and payments
Plans may impose daily questions, dossier, export or other limits. The applicable limits are shown before purchase or use. Paid checkout is disabled during this pilot. Before payments are enabled, billing terms, renewal, cancellation, taxes and refund rights must be confirmed and displayed in the checkout flow.
8. Intellectual property
Prophet software, branding, original presentation and documentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No ownership transfers to you. Your right to use the Service is limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable. Source data can carry separate reuse restrictions.
9. Availability, changes and suspension
The Service is provided on an “as available” basis and may change, pause or end. We may suspend access to protect users, sources or systems; respond to legal requirements; prevent abuse; or enforce these Terms. Where practical, material account changes will be communicated in advance.
10. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, no warranty is given that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, current or suitable for a particular purpose. Mandatory consumer rights and other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
11. Liability
Any exclusion or limitation applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law. The final liability cap, excluded loss categories and exceptions must be approved by qualified counsel before production. Nothing excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited.
12. Ending use
You may stop using Prophet at any time. Account deletion and data-retention consequences will follow the final Privacy Notice and retention schedule. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including rights, disclaimers and accrued obligations—continue to apply.
13. Governing law and disputes
Production decision required: the governing law, competent courts, consumer forum rights and formal dispute process have not yet been confirmed. They must be inserted before public signup or paid checkout.
14. Contact and changes
Formal legal contact details must be added before launch. If these Terms materially change, Prophet will publish a new version and request fresh acceptance where required.
